A few years into dating I would tease Richard about getting me a ring (just to bug him). He always said I would have to wait until the 5 year mark and see if we break up or get engaged. Christmas of 2017 which marks 4 1/2 years he proposed. I had gone out and found him a really good present and I was excited to give it to him. I had to even hide it at his families house. Christmas came and he was excited that I got him a really nice chair for his computer to play games in. As I was sitting in it and trying it out I turned and he proposed. Then I had to go to work that night, but he for sure won Christmas that year.
