  • 61st Street Fishing Pier: The 61st Fishing Pier has provided family friendly fishing fun out in the Gulf of Mexico since 1968. Our pier extends out over the Gulf of Mexico, making it the best spot for regular catches of redfish, black drum, trout, and sharks. Fish and enjoy your friends and family without getting your feet wet.


 



  • American Undersea Warfare Center, Seawolf Park: Immerse yourself in adventure and history at the American Undersea Warfare Center! This unique attraction gives you the opportunity to explore two historic World War II undersea vessels- the USS CAVALLA and the USS STEWART-on a self-guided tour or with a knowledgeable guide. The USS CAVALLA is best known for sinking the Japanese aircraft carrier Shokaku, a veteran of the Pearl Harbor attack. The USS STEWART is the only Edsall-class destroyer escort preserved in the United States.

  • Bryan Museum: Join us for a day of high adventure! See the guns that "won the West", hear the bells of Spanish missions, ride the open range, and immerse yourself in the rich heritage of our shared past. The museum showcases one of the world's largest collections of historical artifacts, documents, and artwork relating to the American West.


 



  • Fantastic Galveston Race: Equal parts "The Amazing Race"-esque competition and interactive walkabout, both tourists and locals alike will see a side of the Island that theyvth never seen before as they race against the clock and their competitors to win! Participants form teams and receive their first clue at the starting line. The teams then scramble to solve the clue, which leads them to a new clue- equipped with nothing more than a pen, a map, and their own wits. Anything on the way to the finish line could be their next clue!


 



  • Galveston Railroad Museum: Towering at the head of the Strand, the vast Railroad Museum boasts one of the largest restored railroad collections in the Southwest, and one of the five largest in the country, with numerous railroad memorabilia and exhibits, including more than 40 pieces of locomotives and rolling stock. Southeast Texas' most popular railroad museum, there is something here for everyone!


 



  • Galveston Water Adventures-Dolphin Sightseeing Tour: This one hour tour is aboard Cruise-N-Time, a twin engine opeb-air tour boat departing from Pier 21. The tour is usually able to get a close up view of playful dolphins. It's great for the whole family. There are two tours a day, weather permitting.


 



  • Moody Gardens Rainforest Pyramid: Explore the oceans and rainforests of the world in these amazing attractions at Moody Gardens. The Rainforest Pyramid recently underwent a complete redesign with exciting new exhibits that allow you to see endangered species, plants, and free roaming animals from around the world.


 



  • Moody Mansion: Come tour this 1895 historic mansion filled with opulent furnishings and heirlooms from one of Texas's most powerful families.


 



  • Ocean Star Offshore Rig Museum: Take a leisurely, self-guided tour through the retired Ocean Star jack-up rig, which now serves as a museum and educational facility.


 



  • Pirates! Legends of the Gulf Coast: Pirates! Legends of the Gulf Coast is a pirate-themed family experience where visitors can learn about the legends, myths, and stories of the last buccaneers.


 



  • Spongebob Subpants Adventure: Located in the Discovery Pyramid at Moody Gardens. Dive into Adventure! On this wild and silly deep-sea submarine voyage, you choose the destination and you interact with your hapless captain-Patrick Star! Plunge into a world of immersive 3D media, a torrent of special effects, and a nonstnon whirlwind of surprise! With an improvised, real time interaction with Patrick Star, and varying destinations, your adventure is never the same twice.


 



  • The Grand 1894 Opera House: The Grand is one of the few remaining theatres of its era in Texas and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. As further recognition of its importance to the citizens of Texas, in 1993 the 73rd Texas LegilaLegis proclaimed the Grand "The Official Opera House of Texas".
