Dear Family & Friends,

We are very excited about our upcoming wedding and hope that you will be able to join us to share in this special day! The ceremony and celebration will be held onboard the Carnival Pride before we set sail. A unique feature of a cruise ship wedding is the special requirements that guests must follow due to government and cruise line regulations. We hope that these requirements do not inconvenience you in any way.

RSVP & Guest Identification Requirements
We must submit a complete guest list to the cruise line prior to the wedding for each guest attending.  Therefore, we do need to receive your completed R.S.V.P. card no later than March 5, 2019.

*For each attending guest, over the age of 18, please provide your full legal name, date of birth and your driver’s license or passport number in your reply.

*Guests over the age of 18 are required to bring a form of photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport in order to board the ship.
*Children under the age of 16 are required to bring an original or certified copy of a birth certificate.
*Children aged 16 and 17 are required to bring an original or certified copy of a birth certificate and provide photo identification, such as a school issued photo identification card, learners permit or driver’s license.

Boarding Process/Ceremony
The ceremony will be held at approximately 1:00 p.m.  However, all attending guest must arrive to the Port no later than 10:45 a.m. There will be a wedding check-in desk and our guests will be given priority boarding, as soon as the ship clears customs, which can take up to an hour.

All guests are REQUIRED to provide photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport in order to board the ship (see above requirements for guests under the age of 18 years).  Please be certain to bring the same form of photo identification that was provided in your reply.

Onboard Activities/Food and Beverage Options
Once allowed onboard, the wedding party will prepare for the ceremony, while guests will have the chance to explore the ship and get a bite to eat.  Lunch will be served onboard prior to the wedding ceremony. Each guest will be provided a voucher for lunch at The Lido Restaurant.  The Lido Restaurant has food options for everyone, offering multiple food stations, a huge salad bar and tons of sweets.

*Non-sailing guests can remain on the ship until 3:00 p.m., which is an hour before sailing.

Please call or email us at 301-351-1501 or marcellapickard@gmail.com with any questions you may have.  We look forward to celebrating our special day with all our family and friends.  We hope to see you soon!

Love, Marcella & Jason
