We decided in January of 2016 that we would be getting married at some point. We started looking at engagement rings, but we were not in any hurry, so we were taking our time to choose the perfect ring. 

So, Jamey found the perfect ring and waited to propose until his mom was coming into town so she could be part of our special day  :) 

She came into town the week of Thanksgiving and we all went to Gatlinburg where he proposed twice actually. Once with his mom, and my son, at the most beautiful place in the Smokey Mountains overlooking panoramic views of the beautiful mountains,and then again at his family reunion in Bryson City, NC (at the urging of his mom) LOL 

Both were very special!!!
