Bride

Debbie always thought that she would Propose to me. She had given me a beautiful Commitment Ring when we began dating seriously. Her Birthday was coming up so I decided that 'I' would Propose to her. I had been longing to do it and I knew she would never expect it! With the help of some of her amazing Tribe of friends, we arranged what Debbie thought was her Birthday Dinner! We had it at Seasons 52 in Buckhead as that is where we went on our first Official date. Everyone showed up and we had an amazing feast, talked and shared many laughs. When the plates were removed, I started talking to everyone about how much Debbie meant to me. She had no clue she was on Facebook live as her Sister and Niece that live in New Orleans wanted to see. Debbie was being silly-she really had no idea what was going on until I pulled the ring box out. Things got real quickly!! It was an amazing moment shared with Dear friends topped off with a Champagne toast!

The proposal…what a surprise!!!  My birthday is May 29 and Laura asked me a few weeks earlier if I’d like to go to dinner with some of our friends for my birthday.  I said ‘SURE” that would be great.  On May 27th we headed out to Seasons 52, the location of our first date back on August 19th, 2017.

Fast forward to we are seated and eating, laughing and carrying on.  I am having a ball celebrating my birthday.  Once we were mostly finished eating Laura starts a toast to me and I am being silly, laughing and cracking jokes left and right.  THEN, I look at her and she pulls out a box with a ring and asks me to marry her!!! My FIRST response was “I was supposed to ask” LOL.  She then asks me again because I was clearly in shock.  You see, I truly had NO idea what was happening… I STILL thought it was a birthday party!!!!

I’m a little slow with catching on but once I did I was elated.  Of course, I said YES!!!!  I have NEVER been that surprised by anything.  Well done my Love.
