Chad proposed a couple of days before Thanksgiving. His proposal was so unexpected. We layed in bed just staring into each others eyes for the longest time, not saying a word. We were talking about marriage for the first time and then he asked if I would marry him, he leaned over for the ring and stole my heart. I couldn't have asked for any other way. It was just the right moment and just the right time. He said he had gotten the ring and was going to wait a couple of months but couldn't in that moment. It took me by surprise as I thought he would propose after a year. Now we are getting married one day more than our one year anniversary. It could not be more perfect!

Well I searched to find a ring for a few days and saw the one I wanted to get my girl so I picked it up.  I had this plan to wait until after the holidays and do a beach trip or a really nice dinner but the day I got the ring we were laying in bed talking for hours about everything and as I was looking into her eyes it hit me.  I couldn’t wait the time was right I reached behind me and under the bed where the ring was hidden and popped the question. She was totally caught off guard. I won’t forget the look on her face it was an amazing glow. She said yes of course and here we are beginning the best chapter of our lives. So proud to soon be able to call Shawna my wife!!
