|  |  | I proposed to Brittney at Marisco Center in Santiago, Dominican Republic. This was the only restaurant Brittney ever wanted to eat at because of their traditional Dominican style Plantains, Fried Fish and Mojitos!
After a private tour of the famous Santiago Monument, I took her back to the restaurant. My hands were shaking and my heart was racing. Would she say yes or no? I excused myself from the table to use the restroom, only to run to our waiter and ask for help! He quickly knew what to do. The ENTIRE staff made their way to the table that we were sitting at. Britt, had no idea what was going on, she was just smiling away at everyone and enjoying her meal. I asked God to give me the courage to ask this beautiful woman to please be my wife, and she said Yes!
I would’ve never imagined our journey would lead us to traveling the world for a whole year and smiling every bit of the way.
